The Director of Operations (DOO) is primarily responsible for managing their assigned team, which includes Senior Project Managers (SPMs), Project Managers (PMs), and Regional Managers (RMs), and assisting them with any operational concerns. The DOO draws on their significant management experience to mentor and provide professional development to their assigned team. In addition, the DOO works closely with local/national managers and clients to maintain the quality of ScribeAmerica(tm) client contracts. The DOO is a member of the ScribeAmerica(tm) Senior Management Team and has a direct impact on the management and policy priorities of ScribeAmerica(tm).. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:. Account management and leadership:. Develop and maintain Account Plan for hospital and health system partners in assigned region. Manage and update the Account Plan on a quarterly basis. Facilitate annual Account Planning Session with account team. Engage the client in the Account Planning Process. Provide coaching and leadership to account team. Expand ScribeAmerica's brand to grow our footprint in the account. Retention and growth management:. Identify and assess opportunities with the account. Maintain ongoing contact with hospital and health system clients to drive client retention and future growth. Client relationship development:. Create opportunities for other team members to engage with key client contacts. Drive exceptional client service with your RP and teams through. Being responsive to our client needs and seeking and providing continuous feedback. Proactively share relevant insights with clients. Participate in the QA/Service Partnership process. Administration:. Account planning and revenue planning activities. Serves as resource to provide continued support on various business development topics and transactions. Performs market research and analysis on industry and related events, publications, and announcements. Additional Duties and Responsibilities. Employ and encourage high level project management skills in assigned team members.. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to client needs and objectives.. Regular collaboration with assigned team members in regards to timeline development and weekly status updates of projects. Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving any operational matters. Assist with high severity client-related requests or issues (escalations as needed).. Attend client meetings as needed or requested, either in person or via phone. Ensure the assigned team members are upholding high standards of quality for all existing and newly implemented sites.. Ensure assigned team members are following ScribeAmerica(tm) policies.. Conduct weekly conference calls/meetings with all employees assigned to their team.. Conduct in depth monthly review of each site to ensure excellence at each ScribeAmerica(tm) client contract.. Ensure the good health of each ScribeAmerica(tm) client contracts and seek to improve health of any contracts as needed. Work with manager(s) and EMT to identify quality assessment and performance improvement processes (QA/PIP) and develop strategies to meet these goals.. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to senior manager(s) and the Executive Management Team (EMT). Required Education and Experience. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or other related discipline, or Associate's with related experience of 3+ years. Three years experience in medical industry, account management, project management, business development and/or research and development area. Display exemplary work ethic, and professionalism.
